Some help with ram selection

Hi I'm trying to finish up my build. I have everything except ram. I am currently looking at buying G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB C16 3600mhz (F4-3600C16D-16GVK), but they are out off stock from where I need to buy them, so I am looking for different options. I wanted to get some help figuring out if I should wait for ram I specified or go for something similar like G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB C18 4000mhz (F4-4000C18D-16GVK). Which of these options seem better, because I did not find enough info with which ram to go with, would 4000mhz C18 be faster or 3600mhz C16? Also I am getting 4x8gb is it worth it in my case or 2x16 would make more sense? Main purpose of the build is for gaming and programming. Thanks for your answers.

For the RAM kit, it depends on what you're looking for honestly. Judging by your parts, if I had to buy one I would go for the Trident Z Neo series of RAM kits as the Neo series is supped to be optimized for Ryzen and they look really good (I've been using the Trident Z series of RAM for about 3 years now).
