I bought 3 new Arctic P14 PWM PST fans and just installed them today and after installation im getting CPU Fan error at boot, nothing else was changed and everything was working before, I didnt get this CPU fan error before.

The CPU Fan speed is not detected in the bios and in the AI Suite 3.

This is the setup:

-Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360, radiator fans connected to the CPU Header1 with a 3 Way 4 Pin splitter, Pump connected to the AIO Pump header.

-P14 fans are daisy chained together and it is connected to the CHA Fan2 header.

Tried putting all fan control at bios to Auto but nothing happened.

Thanks for the help.

Set CPU fan speed to ignore. I forget where it is in the bios but it shouldn't be hard to find.

It's possible that only one of the connectors on the splitter sends RPM info back to the motherboard header. Is it possible your two radiator fans are connected to one that doesn't have the RPM wire?

Yeah I already did that but is that really a solution? Like the rad fans RPM is still not showing in the AI Suite 3 either.

Yeah but the rad fans did show their RPM before I installed the new case fans, like I said everything was working entirely before the new fan install.

My bad, I thought the cooler was new as well as the case fans. If the cooler wasn't changed then that's odd. Maybe try a BIOS reset?

Otherwise the turning off the fan error in BIOS might be your only option, however much of a hack it may be.

No problem, I can try resetting the bios but if it doesnt work then is the AI Suite 3 still correctly adjusts the RPM speed of the radiator fans based on CPU temperature if the RPM speed is not being detected?

Noperz, cpu under stress test is 80c+ it was around 70c+ before.

Very odd. What if you try connecting just one of your radiator fans directly to the motherboard header? Just leave the other two unplugged for now and see if the BIOS will recognize one fan directly connected to the CPU fan header.

Already figured out, radiator fans were loose since the 3 way splitter is shitty quality and they dont attach properly, there wasnt a better one that I could buy.

But thanks for the help.
