r7 3800x memory oc problems

Hi all together,

Yesterday, I got a new 3800x as n upgrade to my r7 1700. I upgraded the BIOS and it boots up fine. I only have one problem. I cant oc the memory. Even XMP fails to boot. The only configuration, which runs is 2133MHz. The kit 3000 CL16 (I know thats bad). With the 1700 it ran at 2800MHz, but now, I cant even get it to 2400. I am using a x370 sli plus from msi running the latest bios version. If anybody knows something, pls tell me.
