Upgrade Path Suggestions?

Hi, I currently have a pc with a z370, rx 580, i5-9600k, h100i, 16gb 2666mhz ram, 512gb nvme, thermaltake level 10 gt, aresgame 650w. (If you need more info let me know). I recently also got a laptop with better specs and I currently use that instead of the desktop. I was thinking about trying to get a 30 series but I think it might be better to sell it for parts (I think I could get about $600 maybe? Also I'll keep the nvme and I think I can put it in the laptop) and use the laptop until the next parts are out, then sell the laptop and basically build a new pc from there. Do you think that is a good idea? Any suggestions? Thanks!
