Installing second M.2SSD drive

So my friend is having problems installing a second M.2 NVMe SSD on the bottom slot of the Asus TUF B360 plus. We've tried everything. It does not show up in disk manager to allocate it or anything. But it shows up in the NVMe tab in BIOS. Why does it not work? Is it a case of the mobo not supporting 2 SSD's or what?

the bottom m.2 slot support PCIe 3.0 2x

edit : no plan how that is helpful

So a kingston A2000 is not supported?

Those slots are extremely confusing. Is the B360 plus a board that doesn't support NVMe SSD's and only SATA on that bottom one?
