beamng problems

not sure if this is the right place to ask this,but i tried on beamng official forum and got no help..

recently i upgraded from a 1050 2gb to 1070ti 8gb,but noticed no fps increase in BeamNG.. it spins from 50-60 on high settings,same with 1050.

I went to task manager,my CPU is running from 20-50% (depending on map and location), GPU mostly 50-60%.

Is my CPU being THAT much of a bottleneck?

here are my specs:

MOBO:Asus P6T6 WS Revolution

CPU:Intel Xeon X5650 OC @3.4GHz

RAM: 10GB DDR3 1333Mhz (yes i know its mixed dont comment)

GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 Ti 8G

Please help.

(spawning 6 cars,game runs at 30fps,cpu is at 60% usage)

I am running the same CPU and an RX 570 and run into the same FPS limit. BeamNG does not do an amazing job of using all of our cores, which is a real shame.

That sucks.. I have no idea is there any way to fix it or something.. its sad to see BeamNG run so garbage on a pretty decent PC..

Not to mention that every other game runs well (not too big bottleneck,GPU is at 92-97%) 😛

Agreed, really pisses me off. Seems that BeamNG loves a balance of singlecore and multicore performance. Ryzen chips tend to be the best. Would love if the devs addressed this but I don't have high hopes.

Me neither...and I dont have the financies to upgrade to a Ryzen so 😛
