I am looking for help with a SLI issue with GTA5 i know the game has sli support but for some reason on lowest settings i'm barly getting 60fps it shows i have 8.1gb vram in the settings but using 2.3gb i tried using one card and there was no change but also both cards are only running at 15-30% usage on sli and 40% using a single card i should be able to run the game no issues. i used to run the game for a few hundred hours on 100+fps if anyone has a profile for profileinspector i could try aswell that would be great

That's gonna make it tricky to troubleshoot then. What is the CPU usage during your tests?

40-50% but i also have other standard programs running in the background aswell

Ok, well that seems to be a fair level.

Let me ask you this: are the other games using the SLI properly? In other words, are you getting the FPS you are expecting?

as far as i'm aware the other games i know support sli are using it and getting high usage like in the 60-70% on both cards with a couple of dips here and there but no issues the only other game i'm having issues with atm is POE but that doesn't have sli support

So it's not a system-wide issue, as the games that do support SLI are behaving. This is good news, means we can start to narrow down what's at fault, in this case GTA5.

Are you running it plain, or with mods?

I figured as much, but without knowing that for certain, I was erring on the side of caution and posting it as potential info

i'm worndering if there is a way to force them to use more power or not

Not as far as I am aware, but my guess is you might get a better response (or a more knowledgeable one) at a GTA-V specific forum.
