you can use openvpn to access your office LAN.

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

In your case what you would be looking at is a route/tunnel between the office and the home.

Does a VPN server fit your needs? Like flashiling mentioned.

Do you only need to access the Office NET or if you are in the office, do you also need to be able to access the Home NET?

If you have a public static IPv4 at home as well you could also do a static route and then just do a DNAT on your router to direct traffic to the right device.

Do you have already hardware in-place for that? If so which hardware is used?

When Hamachi was still free, it was the easiest free software method of establishing a VPN between two networks. It's now owned by LogMeIn and requires a subscription fee.

Here are a few free and open-source alternatives.

On the other hand, if the router on each LAN has VPN support, you can use this instead, although more configuration is needed. You'll need to get your IT department to help you with this setup.
