Wake on LAN

Hi, 

 

Can anyone tell me how to get started with wake on LAN? I have an Asus Strix x570 MB, have tried before and failed. Any guidance would be great. I'd like to be able to turn my pc on from another room seeing as I wired a long HDMI cable up to the Livingroom TV from the office!
