Graphics Card Acting Weird

Hey guys! So I have an RX 570 4GB from Asus and I've been using it since last July as its when I got it. As of recent it has started acting weird, Sometimes when I turn my PC on, my PC straight up doesn't post like nothing but when I take my gpu out and run it with on board graphics everything seems to be fine. But at other times when I thought my gpu dead and tried it in my pc for lols it worked but not for long did the same thing again until recently I called it dead and said hey I'll wait and get a new one but a friend told me to try again and it worked. My gpu works when it wants to basically and I wanna know whats causing this. Is it repairable or is it few days away from kicking the bucket.
