Streamlabs Widget Using OBS

So I have set up Follower and Donation widgets in Streamlabs for Twitch using OBS.

 

On streamlabs the Alerts test fine and is working, it shows up on my OBS Live screen when tested. So I thought everything is good to go and I started my stream.

 

Only to find after it was not working in game? I had 2 followers and NOTHING cam up on my screen with an alert saying "xxx is following" . 

 

I tested after my 2hr stream, and again, alerts tested fine in OBS Live screen, but not working in my actual game?

There won't be any visual alerts in game because that isn't how it works as the alerts are an addition to the content that is being captured and streamed to twitch.

 

Unless you've disabled it, you should get an audio notification for everything you've configured to be alerted (which will come through OBS) for but you should really have a way to monitor your stream and view what the alerts are for regardless of if you don't have a multi monitor setup.
