Lagging Out In Games With Good Connection Speeds And Low Ping

i have a router with 105 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload  and 1ms of ping but for some reason I lag out of games like GTAV and Garry's Mod. this also affects discord calls as it cuts out every 2-3 seconds and i cant hear my friends. this only appears to happen on my desktop but not on any smart tv or game console.
