GPU Restarting During Games?

Hi!

 

so im not sure how to describe this.

 

so im playing Black Ops Cold War and after a while the screen will freeze and go black and after 5-10 seconds before crashing the game with a "Fatal Error" 887A005

 

now I know that the error message is well known about the game and I experience them on my second older pc,

I checked temps for both CPU and GPU and both are 55 and 80 respectively

 

my problem is why does the Screen turn black and restarts (i think)? is this normal, what can i do about this? should i get the card checked out?

 

 

New PC:

Ryzen 7 5800x

RX 6900 xt

32 gb

850 watt psu

 

 

Old PC:

i7-4790k

GTX 970

16 GB Ram

600 Watt PSU
