Hi i have a prebuilt with a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 1660 super and i recently took it apart and noticed that i have a cheap and sketchy looking PSU

I was thinking about buying a new PSU that would last me a long time and when i do upgrade my CPU or GPU i don't have to upgrade my PSU aswell

Here are the PSU's i was looking at

EVGA 650 BQ 80+ Bronze 650W Semi Modular about 85 euros

Corsair CX650F RGB 80+ Bronze 650W about 105 euros on sale right now for about 85 aswell

rgb power supplies are a fucking joke tbh. money comes out of the build quality and goes into the RGB "features", then the price is jacked up for the hell of it.

what's a TX650m or RM650 where you are, they're better bets

Alright i'll take a look at them, i actually only looked at the RGB corsair PSU because it's the same price as a non modular one right now

You can find a TXM Gold 550W for around 80 - 60 euros (depending on your country)

Your PC doesn't need more than a 400W PSU so 550W will be fine

if its a good quality unit then yes.

A 3060ti and 3060 would work well at 550W. If you want a 3070 I would recommend 650W+

Its not that bad, although I would still get a better quality one if you want a 3070/3060ti

what brands have "better quality" PSU's  is it only corsair and seasonic? or are there also more  cheaper options because my budget is about 70 to 80 euros
