warzone low fps

my system:

ryzen 5 5600x stock clock stock cooler

RTX 3060 ti FE

16 GB 3200 mhz

550 w 80+ bronze PSU

avg fps = 74

benchmark vids have shown these specs getting around 150+ so I really need some help

GPU usage stays around 40% despite the fact I know 100% this system shouldn't bottleneck

PLEASE HELP 😞

Did you find out anything? I have a 2080 super and i7 10700k, 32gb Ram. I used to easily get 160-170fps. Now I'm lucky to stay at 110fps. Some ransome games I'll get 160fps but that's once in a blue moon. I have no idea what's going on. Cpu and gpu is staying cool too.

brand, model?

I don't think a random bronze psu is gonna cut it, but yeah, not sure how 'random' / basic this is?

Tbh, I'm noticing something similar, sometimes the game will run rock solid 170 fps***, next time with same settings it'll be 150 fps with dips to ~110...  I would normally say the game is just awfully optimized (and it actually is awfully optimized) but there seems to be another factor and that's the servers/ latency or whatever, I've noticed even if you play solo, the game is basically always online since it still shows latency (ms) even in solo... and I believe that is just another factor that makes the game rather unstable.

PS: overall I get better results using high settings instead of low settings... quite 'interesting'!

PSS: I only got this game to test / benchmark, because I was curious what everyone is on about 'mu performance'... and I get it - it's mostly a settings issue (people expect way too much)

if you're not locking your framerates in some way the experience will be absolutely awful, and very unstable.

I did find my settings (in short: high, no raytracing, 120fps *locked*, no vsync)  stable af - most of the time - depends on server latency lottery as well, as mentioned...

***FYI playing at 1440p, 1080p I get around 230 fps, but the same 'stability issues' when framerate is unlocked
