Okay, if you search steam on google, you will see the image attached.

I was directed to http://store.steampowered.com/freeportal/ yet I cant seem to see portal!

what do you reccon folks, is it going to be free?

This is an old url that was used when Portal was free a year or 2 ago. It no longer works as you have found out.

I was one of the lucky ones who got Portal 1 for free :D i still have it in my library.

yeah its an old link and i 2 was 1 of the lucky 1s who got it free. if i remember correctly it came with a bundle with peggle. keep an eye on steam as it will appear again as it has been up free twice now.

also keep an eye on the free to play section you can sometimes find payed games offered free.
