Will it make a difference between using tubing size 3/8ths x 1/2 over 3/8ths x 5/8ths?

any pro's or cons?

(because i screwed up my fitting size, and instead of returning all of it, id rather just buy new tubing that matches it)

my new tube will be 3/8ths (10mm) x 1/2 (133mm)
