Jaka

Budget (including currency): 300$ USD at most.

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft Server (Yes I know)

Other details Hello guys, I am trying to get a dedicated Minecraft server that I can host at my house. We are planning on have 6 server instances one of which running bungee cord which needs about 1-2 GB of dedicated ram and 3 of those servers we are planning on running with 6 GB of ram allocated, and a slightly modified version of spigot. We expect to have 100 players on 3 of those servers because those are gonna be our main game mode servers. But the other 2 servers we want to use as a hub server with one being a fall back server and each of those would need 2 GB of ram. Do you guys have any hardware advice?

I think alot of people are gonna ask "budget" This sounds relatively serious so I am assuming you have several thousands of dollars.  I just built a $3.5k server | look into HPE (HP) HP Enterprise hpe ml110

I was able to build a machine with a XEONE 4112 | 128Gb ram and 42TB of storage (eight drives) HP 2 raid cards, nVIDIA quaddro card, 10GBE SFP nic, 4-port 1Gb nic for Vmware, raid card battery, dual PSU's (swappable)
