USB random resets

lumacman

Ok So I have had my system for a about 6 months and to be frank it’s having and annoying problem that I can’t seem to hunt down and eliminate.

here is the system details in general

amd 3800x

asus tuf x470

16 gigs of 3000 speed ram (xmp) or AMD equivalent is enabled

asus tuf 5600xt video card

1 tb m.2 drive intel boot

2 512 Samsung 860 ssd in raid 0 data

Corsair master controller and lighting nodes.

all inputs into the system are wireless.
keyboard, mouse, headset, Xbox controller via its usb Bluetooth dongle.

there is a powered usb 3.0 hub as well where most of the dongles are connected. Signal with all of that gets interesting from time to time. But that’s not where the issue lies.

every now and then randomly, I can be doing something or it can be idle, and the usb devices will just drop and reconnect. The lighting node will drop, I know cause I have the default lights set to a separate profile and I’ll see the lighting change, and then my mouse will drop and usually come back. Lately the Xbox controller will drop as well and I’ll see the game I’m in will pop up and say the controller is gone.

this isn’t anything more then an annoyance. But is a extremely annoying one. Anyone have any ideas?

if you all need anything data related I’ll get it for you all.
