Difference between timings

So i bought 2x8gb hyperx fury 3600mhz for my new ryzen 5600x , the thing is that after i ordered it i noticed there was another deal for almost the same price (or even lower) that had timing 17-19-19 , and the hyperx fury has 17-21-21 , is there a huge difference between those 2 in gaming ? the other ram was patriot patriot viper 4 blackout 3600mhz.

Difference between them is less than 1 fps probably.  Subtimings in RAM are one of the most minor of specs in a build.

 

You can probably even push the 21's to 19's in the BIOS and they'll be the same then.

So in gaming , the hyperx should do just as fine as the patriot ram , thanks for the quick reply !

You won't see a difference at all really, and if you do your perception skill must be super high. Basically, in this case the lower the timings, the quicker the access speeds between these 2 kits, so there would be a performance increase but a menial one at that.

Did you already order them?  If not, just buy 2 klits of the exact same.

 

If you did, try them and if they for some reason give issues, return em.
