Newly build pc wouldn't boot

B550 tomahawk

Ryzen 5600x

4x 8gb g skill rams

Radeon rx 6800

Corsair 750 watt

Samsung m.2 500 gb

West digital 2 tb

 

I just built a new pc and it wouldn't boot for a USB window media creation tool, so I clone windows for my old pc to the Samsung m.2 500 gb hoping it would work. The cloned window was booting fine on my old pc but when I put it into the new one it stop booting and froze with a black screen and a MoBo logo, no spinning circle or anything. When I restart it to get Preparing automatic Repair, it also froze. The led on the mobo labeled boot also turns off when it froze.

Make sure that you have flashed your BIOS first before running it with a 5600x.

Ryzen 5000 series supported motherboards requires a BIOS update first in order to boot normally.

You're going to need to flash the BIOS from a USB to boot with a 5600X. This video should show you how.
