Send document directly to Workstation through program in use

Greetings!

Hopefully the title is not that confusing. Either way, I will explain my situation really quick and then ask for what I think a solution could be.

Background Info (you can skip this part)

I have been using Windows 7 for work since its release, but this year I decided to update. Not just the OS, but the hardware too. Everything except for the printer, which is a Xerox Docucolor 252 I managed to install the program that controls the printer, which is Command Workstation 5.2 There is a newer version but it doesn't seem to be compatibable with my printer. It works fine. The issue is that I cannot install the printer. Or, rather, I cannot make it so that Windows 10 sees the printer, but it prints fine using Command Workstation. So what I have been doing is that I save the document I want to print in .pdf or .eps or .ps and open the file from Command Workstation. It is annoying, but not that lengthy of a process.

My question

My printer works fine. The software that I use works fine. But Windows 10 doesn't have a way to directly communicate with my printer, so it doesn't display as a printing option in Photoshop, Word, Corel or any other software, I can only print from Command Workstation. Is there a way to have Command Workstation as a printing option? Or, in other words, can we make it so that Windows thinks that a software is a driver?

I have a feeling that it is not that simple or even possible. But it would be could to know how to, at least, create some sort of work around. Perhaps some kind of .exe that starts right after I save a .pdf in a certain folder?

Thank you.
