What Is Better For A Power Supply Choice? Higher wattage or better efficiency?

Example: 650 Watt 80+ Gold or 750 Watt 80+ Bronze

Which is better?

It depends on the system.

If I need clean power, I'd choose the 80+ Gold.

If I need more power, I'd choose the 80+ Bronze.

If you're deciding between the two for your system, what parts are you going to put with it?

R7 3700x, Overclocked RTX 3060 Ti

(Future proofing in mind so that's why 650-750 watts isn't overkill.)

neither. rating is not quality. you should be asking which is better: DF or DC-DC. I would say DC-DC.

brand is not quality since most brands do not make their psus, Seasonic, sirwa, high Power etc make most psus.
