I have a problem

Hello i have a b450-f mother board and corsair vengeance ram 8•4 gb rated at 3000 and ever time i go to set it at 3000 it reboots but then says that system has failed to boot because of memory and i have tried to use mauy set it and d.o.c.p and it just won’t set at 3000 just keeps going back to 2133 can i have some help?

It all depends on your CPU and motherboard.

Update your bios to the latest version first,
Then set DOCP and then manually select speed to 2133Mhz.
Go up in speed with each restart until you hit instability and let us know.

i using a 5 3400g and im not sure about the bios

Check the memory specs for your CPU - it can't run 3000.

so it can’t run 4 slots of 3000

That would be your upgrade path yes.

Your motherboard handles up to 4400mhz as far as I can see.
