Miracast: windows vs android

Hi all,

I'm wondering what the difference between miracast on windows and on android is?

I have a JVC 75X, it supports miracast, but only on android, on windows, it just never connects.

JVC customer support tells me that this TV doesn't support windows, is there any work around? a program that mimics android miracast?
