Can't boot can someone help?

Go to solution Solved by Arttu89,

Just at first glance that doesn't sound like a drive issue, more like a PSU or MB problem.

Did you try to see what happens if you disconnect the drive? Technically you should be able to get into the BIOS even if you don't have any drives connected. If you disconnect the drive and the same system behavoiur persists, then the drive is not the issue. If disconnecting the drive fixes the problem then you could try connecting a diffrent SATA power cable to it if you have another available.

You said it's an old system and you removed that drive from it, I'm assuming it might have stood unused for a while, you can try re-seating all the power cables and just generally checking if anything became loose and might be causing the issue you're having. Bad connections are probably the most common cause of random system behaviour.

I had an old system. I closed it and took out its boot drive and put it in my new pc as a storage device. Now i want to use it as a boot drive again in my old computer(its quick formatted) but when i installed it again in my old computer my computer wont boot. When push the power button it momentarly powers on, fans spin for a second anc closes. And it keeps doing this with 2 seconds of breaks between them and doesnt open or stop. Does anyone have any ideas? This is a little urgent so i apreciae any help please.
