Finished my 2TB drive (named "BULK") and discovered that there's a folder with 545 GB of data on it.

I don't know what it is, but I'm going to ask my dad - I've put maybe 100GB of data on here total.

Anyway.

I started copying my 250GB drive (which interestingly is the only SATA II drive in there, and also 7200RPM, named "Storage") and it kept telling me that it couldn't copy the folder "Low".
It's happened twice now, and I'm halfway through the data.

Does anyone know what this folder is and why it's noncopyable?

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.

It isn't "LocalLow"? That would be one of the AppData folders.

This drive had Windows on it?

If you don't know what the folder is, why do you need to copy it?

What is the location of the folder? Like "C:\Users\Butts\...etc..."

Folder's called "WindowsImageBackup"

Nope. Just "Low".

Nope - it's a 250GB HDD used as a secondary storage drive. Although - my dad used this, plus the 2TB one, as storage for almost everything non-Windows essential.

I'm backing up the drive.

It has many, and not all have files in them:
F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\PrivacIE\Low (no files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\IETIdCache\Low (no files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UserData\Low (files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCookies\Low (files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCookies\DNTException\Low (no files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Low (files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\IECompatUaCache\Low (no files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\IECompatCache\Low (no files)

F:\Temp\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History\Low (files)

This same sequence of filepaths repeats for every user there ever was and is on this computer.
Looks kinda like Internet Explorer stuff to me, and if it is, I don't care anymore.

It seems like those are mostly hidden folders for temp files. I wouldn't worry about trying to back those up.

Well, they're going to be gone forever now!
Two reasons for backing up:
1. To back up
2. To recreate my NTFS partition because Linux said "NTFS partition is unstable, unmounting..." while booting my installer.

It used to be named "Low" in older versions of Windows (maybe XP).

When Microsoft changed the folder layout and nomenclature (possibly from Vista) to have a "Users" directory instead of "Documents and Settings" they also introduced some kind of weird symlimking so that 'legacy' apps could still find the files.  Unfortunately, they made a botched job of it, and have still not fixed the issues introduced even to this day AFAIAA.  If you try to access these links using File Explorer, DOS, another OS, or probably anything not running in "compatibility mode" within Windows, you'll get an access denied or unspecified error.  But there's nothing in there, they are just symlinks.
