I'm not 100% sure if my PSU is the cause of my GPU's coil whine or it's just the GPU itself. I've been using the Corsair CX650m for the past two weeks with a RX 560 and had no problems with coil whine. I just got a PNY GTX 1660 Super and once the GPU goes under heavy load it starts to screech. The screech is very loud to where I can't just ignore it. Should I return the GPU to PNY or try a different power supply?

Well the most important things to remember about coil whine are

1: it's not an actual problem

2: be careful replacing hardware to fix coil whine as there's a high chance it will not fix it
3: coil whine can be caused by almost anything

In my opinion If you have time and money you can try and return components but in the case of coil whine always buy something DIFFERENT than what you were using to increase the chances it won't occur again.

But if it's a hassle then i'd recommend wearing headphones
