I'm trying to get a netgear router setup as an AP for a small office. I need to have 2 computers 2 usb printers and 1 credit card machine setup. This is only about cost because this is the equipment we have an we're out of money lol. So I'll call my comcast router router A and the netgear router router B. Router A has an IP of 10.1.10.1 and B is 192.168.1.1 . I have the routers connected Lan to Lan. so I go into router B and I disable both wireless radios. Don't need the wifi there. I un tick use router as DHCP server. Under Lan settings I change the IP address to 10.1.10.2, subnet to 255.255.255.0 dns server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and gateway to 10.1.10.1 so it points to router A. Issue I have is I lose the ability to manage router B. I need to be able to configure printers on the USB ports. And even beyond that I have reset router B several times throughout this process and sometimes I cannot even get an internet connection to the connected computer. I know this has been explained probably on here and a number of articles online and maybe I'm doing something wrong so anyone familiar want to give me a rundown on what I'm doing and maybe what I should be looking for. I can say while viewing my connected devices through router A I could not ever find the Mac addresses of router B or the devices connected to it even when I had a working internet connection.
