Titanfall resolution bug.

Mindtrickz

Here is the thing, I use my TV as a display for my computer and game in the livingroom. Due to the distance of the TV from the sofa, I use the resolution of 1680x1050p so I can read the on screen information while browsing and in Windows. Although my desktop resolution is 1680x1050p, I game at 1920 x 1080p

The problem: I set my resolution to 1080p inside Titanfall, but when I exit the game and start it up again at a later time, it reverts to the desktop resolution of 1680x1050.

Has anyone experienced something similair?

How about setting the desktop resolution to 1080p, and increasing the size of items on screen? There should be an option to do so in the display options in control panel.

What? I think you misunderstand. My TV supports 1080p, but I use a lesser resolution insde Windows so I can better read the text on screen. But while gaming I use 1080p. Titanfall for whatever reason always reverts the games resolution settings from 1920 x 1080p to 1680 x 1050p when I exit the game.

I tried that in the past, anything beyond the 1680 x 1050p messes with the text in Windows and browsers. But the problem is not so much Windows, but rather Titanfall not retaining the user configuration.

In that case you should be able to mod some of the .ini files in Titanfall to hard set the resolution to 1080p.Not sure which ones but im reasonably sure it can be done.
