hey, i need help. because i am getting a pc soon idk if i should buy a power strip battery because they are like 100$ each

Are you asking about backup power supplies, sometimes called uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)?

Your choice really. Just remember when figuring out the needed capacity it will have to provide the system unit and monitor with power for at least five minutes to be able to safely shut down.

Yes i most likely will not have a monitor plugged in to save the power if it has a smaller capacity

idk i guess i would just let it shut down BUT only if it has a small capacity

For the system to initiate a shutdown you will need to get a unit that can signal the system. (Usually done through a usb cable.)

well ill see im getting my pc in september of 2021 because im saving up
