Old Graphics Card Help

I have a really old ATI radion card that was designed for a Apple Mac Pro. I am building a pc now but would like to know if the microcode apple put on the card to make it compatible with the mac pro could pose a risk of damaging the new components so I can set up the OS now, while I wait for my new graphics card to arrive.
