Smart Backup Software?

In addition to my 321 Backup SetUp, which is already managed, I sometimes need to carry some data around, so I also have this particular data on a portable drive.

Whenever I want to use it, I have to copy the entire data onto the hard drive, even though just some files (from thousands) were added, or removed.

Is there a software that you recommend and that will automagically sync the data , whenever I plug the hard drive into my PC? That way I would just need to wait a few seconds, not 45 minutes.

No need to add things like that. Such is already against our rules.

 

As for your question. I can't give any automatic solution because I don't use one (that I would say works 100% for you). I use FreeFileSync's donation edition. Which pretty much means I get portable edition and auto-update. It does sync between two folder paths, and can do scheduled and real-time syncing (but I haven't used these features).
