So i have a gtx 980 ryzen 2600 16 gbs of ram and a b450 mobo. I saw this was in the B tier on the psu list so i was wondering if i should get it. If not what are some other psus for the same price?

There is also another psu by Silverstone i was wondering about getting. Its also cheaper!

You don't have anything too power hungry, so a B-tier unit should be fine. I'd probably go with the Be Quiet unit if it were me, but that Silverstone unit is probably just a rebranded Seasonic, so it would be fine as well (don't quote me on that, check for yourself before buying)

For future reference, the Silverstone is actually a CWT PSU, specifically using the GPS platform, and not a Seasonic. Also only 3 year warranty...oof. I'd personally take the be quiet! over Silverstone.

There's also the Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro 550w for $80 on Amazon. It's a tier A PSU that is a rebranded Seasonic Focus GM, with a 7 year warranty.

Thanks, figured it was rebranded, just didn't know who was the OEM, and figured most are Seasonic

How in the world did you arrive at that conclusion, and why would that make the PSU fine? Seasonic is perfectly capable of selling garbage, just like any other brand

:)

It would be easier if you actually wrote which models you're looking at, and linked where you're buying from

:)
