This is my first post on the LTT forum so yay me.

For context, I'm using a 2020 Intel 13" macbook pro with quad core 10th gen i5 cpus, and 32 gb of ram. This allows me to have 4 thunderbolt 3 ports which is very useful for the many things I'm using.

for my multiport adapter I'm using an Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand+ 7-in-1. Surprisingly (or not), I'm able to use my webcam and usb mic on that multiport adapter without overwhelming its I/O bandwidth. So the issue I'm going to discuss very likely isn't for this reason.

I'm using an VicTsing MM057 2.4G which is amazon's best seller. The issue I'm having is that I have to drag the mouse to the other side of the table just so it can connect with its USB wireless port better. If I bought what Linus recommended which is the Logitech G305, are the wireless connectivity issues going to go away or will this be that case where I have to settle for a wired mouse?

Disclaimer, I am not looking to buy a gaming mouse nor anything that has any more buttons on either of the mouses I mentioned. But if people say the G305 will work just fine, then I'm looking no further, unless they say otherwise.

thanks,

JB
