Is Dban safe???

Is DBAN safe cause it says that's the the software authors have noting to do with it if it harms or do damages so is it possible that someone may have injected some kind of virus or spyware or keylogger in the software it self??

No, what it means if you lose important data, or there becomes an error that causes data loss or damage, the authors are not responsible. This is a warning to anything 3rd party software that writes to major parts of a disk or edits anything important really. Should be safe as long as you downloaded it and checked the SHA256

This is there becasue the world is full of idiots, and you'll get people who will download a program of which the whole purpose is to securely wipe a computer, run it, and then go "this erased all my data, Imma sue you for 10 million dollars!11!1!1!"
