Hi All,

I have a Ryzen 3950X and I have been using my memory I carried over from my i7 6700K Build.

My Current is 2666MHz C16 Vengeance LPX 4x8GB

I was looking to upgrade memory but feel like its more of a mine field than I thought.

I will be looking for 4x16GB but likely just buy 2x16GB to start with.

I understand how to work out latency etc but I cant decide what will be better for me..

I am Looking Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB 3600MHz C18

But I see they do 3200Mhz C16 and 3000MHz C15 these all work out to have the same real latency so what one would you pick?

Open to any other suggestions too.

I used my computer for  Gaming, Video Production & 3D Work

Any Help Much appreciated

Get the 3600mhz kit. This will allow you to run your Fclock at 1800mhz as well, the sweet spot for Zen 2 CPUs.

Thanks for that. Are you able to elaborate a little what that means. I have a heard about the Fclock and stuff but not read much on it.

Thanks

F Clock is the infinity fabric clock. This is the link between the CCX's, or the core chiplets.

This is the kit I personally use with my 3700x and was able to tighten the timings up using the Ryzen DRAM calculator.
