Budget (including currency): 300 GBP

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will run VMWare esxi. There will be a quite large Minecraft server ran on it and other similar things.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm upgrading from a FX8300, 16GB DDR3 RAM. It's not enough for my needs anymore. I've looked at Xeon E5 series processors on eBay, but the 2011-3 motherboards for those chips are overpriced unless I buy them from abroad, but I need it asap and from China it won't come till February! I also looked at AMD Opteron CPUS but there's no socket G34 motherboards in the form factor I want. I would prefer just an ATX board so I don't need to buy a new case, but I will push to an E-ATX case if it fits in the budget. Looking to get as much RAM as possible for it, I can always add more in the future. I have storage already so I don't need that. Might need a PSU if a 450W isn't enough for this.
