Budget (including currency): $800-900 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs, or workloads that it will be used for: Heavy video and photo editing with Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier Pro. Some gaming like CSGO, (hopefully) cyberpunk, forza, or something.

Other details: I'm planning on building this system : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tHYRwz and wanted your input on my part choices. If my budget allows, I'll purchase 32gb DDR4 and a GTX 1660 Super instead of the listed parts. Over the next year I'm planning to upgrade to a 3070 or 3080 as well as 64-128gb of ram. While now isn't the best time to upgrade, I'm coming from an old macbook air and need something that can handle heavy photo and video editing as well as gaming.

Note: While it wasn't listed on the parts list, I already have a 4tb HDD that I'm planning on formatting and using as additional storage

upgrade your CPU to at least AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and get Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black 55 CFM CPU Cooler (NH-U12S chromax.black) - PCPartPicker or similar CPU cooler. Get at least a 750W+ PSU if you want upgradability in the future for GPU. Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower Case (PH-EC360ATG_DBK) - PCPartPicker

I would recommend getting this case instead of yours. It is almost the same, but comes with case fans and RGB. Amazon.com: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid-Tower(PH-EC400ATG_DBK01), Mesh Front Panel, Tempered Glass, Digital-RGB, Black: Computers & Accessories. Also, instead of buying windows, there are many cheaper ways to get it. You can find activation codes on amazon for less than $10 instead of paying over $100 for it.

Given: I didn't state this earlier, but just making sure you know, if you get that case instead, you don't need to buy the case fans. If you want, you still can though and have more cooling in the case. The Eclipse P400A has good airflow though so it probably isn't needed.

Makes sense! I'll take a look! Thanks
