Budget (including currency): AUD $5000 preferably less

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I like the build so far but am not 100% sure if this would be good. Any suggestions would be great!

That GPU and CPU are being heavily scalped. I'd also get a better case.

You are overspending on a few things.

That cooler is overkill for a 5600X. A cheaper air cooler would easily be fine. You can always put an RGB fan on it. The Alpenfohn Brocken 3 for example is a good cooler.

The Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro ATX is cheaper.

The Kingston HyperX Fury 3200MHz CL16 RGB Ram is cheaper.

The Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle is $250 cheaper than the Asus Strix.

The Adata SX8200 Pro 2TB is cheaper than the Samsung 970 Evo.

The SuperFlower Leadex III saves some money as well.

That case doesn't have the best airflow. I would look at the Phanteks P500A Airflow D-RGB or something else with a mesh front as an alternative.

If you go with the above case you don't need so many fans. Spending nearly $350 on Corsair fans is a waste imo.  Also sticking to one ecosystem makes it a bit easier. So the Phanteks fans and Kingston Ram work with the Gigabyte Fusion software.

That would save around $1200 with the GPU:

A few issues with that build.

The Ram kit is terrible. The op has chosen RGB Ram and you select a kit with no heatspreaders and CL22 timings.

You have halved the SSD storage.

Why the massive full tower case ? The Primo is pretty dated, and it is designed for a full custom loop setup. There are better options for way less.

The fans are also a waste of money when you can buy a case with RGB fans already included i.e Phanteks P500A D-RGB.
