Samsung...fix your software...and boot time

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3vmdeykegzpi7y6/Capture.JPG

Sooo yeah...this can't be right...just wondering what sort of things could cause it to read the transfer speeds so incorrectly?

Furthermore, I seem to be experiencing some peculiar boot times, like hovering around the 30sec zone, when I am fairly sure from past experience with SSD's that this shouldn't be the case and that with a Windows 8.1 computer with fast boot enabled that the computer should bring me to the login screen with a bit more pace? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Jack

you have rapid mode enabled, that explains those speeds

Yeah, rapid mode will give you higher speeds than what's advertised. Though your random speeds seem a bit low considering rapid mode is enabled. Here's my 128GB Pro with rapid mode:

And my 256GB Pro without rapid:

Do you have AHCI enabled? Also if you have intel 6Gbps ports and some other 6Gbs ports (like Asmedia), use the intel ports. I had a surprising speed increase when I switched my SSD's over the intel ports on my mobo.
