noob cuestion

I m not into mining, to be fair i started to read here because i did folding@home and now i roseta projects
Question: if i will buy a 3080 gpu, will i be able to "reduse the cost" of it by using it for mining?
I mean, is it good to mine on a GPU now?
Does it burn more money on electricity than it actualy produse?
Is there a way to calculate how much you make for 6 months of full use of it?
Oh btw i dont know the programs that are used on that workflow
