you should buy an nvidia card to have the best experience with premier because it can use cuda core for gpu acceleration

you probebly can find used gtx 1070 or rtx 2060s for 180 to 200$

also a quad core cpu can have a pretty bad time while editing 4k videos

also that motherboard cant handle 3600mhz ram

it only goes up to 3200 and cpu can only handle 2933mhz

so you better buy a 32 gb kit that is rated for 3000mhz

As far as I can tell, Premiere can use either OpenCL or CUDA.

Agreed on the 570 not being the best value at that price though -- a used 1070, used Vega 56, or new 1660 will generally be better.

Agreed that the CPU would be the first thing to upgrade.

The motherboard can handle 3600mhz fine -- AMD doesn't lock memory speeds like Intel does, even on their low-end boards
I would see if you can get something a bit better for the price, though, as Gigabyte's B450 VRM is pretty bad.

OP, are you OK going used?

agreed with the VRM

but he is on budget as far as he wants to use the stock cooler and spent all his money on RAW performance

and about the memory

well i just read the specs and nothing more so maybe your right

also OpenCL vs CUDA ??????

i think we both know the absolute king is CUDA

but he cant go with Vega because he need a much better power supply and a good cooling configuration since VEGA......you know

its just eats power and output heat

Some builds I drew up:

All new parts:

If you can find a good deal used on an RX 480/570/580 or similar:

Both builds have a bit of wiggle room on your original budget if you wanted to add more storage, get a basic aircooler, get a slightly nicer case, etc.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with used, my friend insists on using this free editing software he found which probably doesn't take much advantage of cuda cores. I'll let you know what software.
