Computer not initializing os boot

Hi i just installed an SSD in to my laptop (Asus U30Jc) and i used the Ai recovery suite CDs to re load the os. However after the CD is done the computer keeps saying insert bootable media and press any key. The weird thing is that if i press the F9 key it says starting windows and then i see the mouse then a Red Error pops up with the title bar sayaing Cannot locate C://Recovery.dat file.

 

So what could be Wrong with this i also tried startup repair with a windows 7 disk and still no repair. any help would be appreciated

At least my Lenovo laptop makes 100mb partition for recovery option when I reinstall windows using cds (downgrade from Vista to XP). I guess recovery CDs you used didn't create that portition. I can be mistaken, but only real option is to reinstall windows. Does that laptop have Asus recovery center as option? Can you access it during system load?
