LED light strip issue

Hello, I recently upgraded to an RTX 3080 with triple 8 pin power connects and to plug in the 3rd 8 pin i needed to unplug some of my rgb devices and after that two of my strips are only half lit and they are controlled by corsair icue. the strips are lit up to the half way point and then stop. When corsair icue is not running and they are not software controlled all the leds light up which shows the leds are alive. I've tried a reinstall and update of icue with no luck. does anyone have any suggestions?

I would say not enough to voltage or amperage while the computer is on but I might be wrong.

since the amps and votls are not controlable would that mean there might be lose cable ends not plugged all the way in?

I reverted back to old icue software and now all the leds light up so i guess corsairs latest version of icue is glitched
