Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Looking for Apex and Warzone 1440p and 144hz for the next couple of years

Current Parts List:

RTX 3070 when available

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor

Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case

Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

This is going to be my first build so any input is appreciated, but I do have a couple of specific questions...

Good balance between CPU and GPU?

I don't know much about motherboards, I only know that I do need wifi, is this the best bang for the buck?

Same thing with cases, just looking for something fairly easy to build in and decent looking with good airflow.

For the CPU, is 3600x a good sweet, or should I look at 3600 or one of the ones recently released (looking to build within the next month or two)

Will I feel bottle-necked with 16 gigs ram?

Is 750w a good spot for a power supply? Modular vs semi-modular?

Also, have not settled on a 1440p 144 h monitor, any bang for the buck suggesting appreciated as well!

Again, thank you for any input!

I'd get a 5600X instead of a 3600X.

I'd get a cheaper NVMe drive than the 970 Evo something like a SN550 is cheaper and will perform the same in games.

I'd get a different case, unless your set on how it looks, that case has bad airflow and something like a Phanteks P300A is a better option.

And 16GB of ram is enough for gaming.

And that PSU is good for what you have.
