I have a ryzen 3 3200g and an msi X570-A pro MB. What zen is my 3200g and also if I was to upgrade to a ryzen 5 3600x, would I need to do a bios update? Thanks in advance

So even if the 3600x was 2nd or 3rd gen i wouldn't have to do a bios update and also my understanding is that the x570 is a pretty good board. Im new to computers but have been learning every chance I get.

You won't need a BIOS update for your X570 board to install the 3600X
