New gaming PC

I am trying to build brand new PC for gaming. I play competitively game called World of Warcraft. I did narrow list of components for the build but i need a wise man judge which one will be more efficient. Playing at 1920x1080 and want to connect 3 monitors to it.

Now i can go with two paths;

AMD

1. Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 3.7GHz, 32 MB

2. Mobo - Gigabyte X570 GAMING X

or Intel

1. Processor -  Intel Core i7-10700F, 2.9GHz, 16 MB

2. Mobo - MSI MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS

 

Rest is :

1. Case - Inter-Tech C-701

2. Ram - Patriot Viper Steel, DDR4, 16 GB, 4000MHz, CL19

3. Cooler - Nzxt Kraken X73

4. GPU - FX Radeon RX 5700 XT Triple Dissipation 8GB GDDR6

5. SSD - ADATA XPG Gammix S11 Pro 1 TB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen3 NVMe

6. Supply - SilentiumPC Supremo L2 V2 550W

 

Now which path will give me more efficiency and smooth game at any given time?

Both cost almost the same. :D

Ryzen 5600x. That mobo is overkill but up to you.

 

Guys, remind me, when will will the memory decouple on ryzen 5000 series?

 

Also, that gpu. I would assume you have a very good budget. Why not get the 6000 series instead to take advantage of the link thing between ryzen 5000 and rx6000?

The budged is around 1600€. 

The AMD 6700XT card is not available in my country. Propably would cost too much for me

Mobo for AMD was choosed becouse of the ram speed.

You do know that 4000mhz ram doesn't work on ryzen without a very very very very lucky overclock right? At stock 3600mhz is as far as you should go as going any faster has a negative impact on performance

b550 mobo would be a better option for a 5600x

Super then i will change the ram for 3600MHz will save me few euros.

What about the intel vs amd? Which to choose?

From the latest tests I've seen, the 5600X out benchmarks its competitor at intel.

 

You could probably stretch to the 6800XT rather than 5800XT if dropping ram down to 3600Mhz, and mobo down to a B550.
