So with the upcoming xbox supporting 4k aswell as my pc, ive been looking at getting a 4k display.

Im not really to clued up on 4k displays and would like some advice.

Ill start off by saying i have two displays one a tv one a monitor.

I only play pc on the monitor but play xbox on both.

I currently have

Monitor: https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-29WK600

TV: https://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-49UJ651V#

ive been offered a brand new dell monitor for £350

https://www.dell.com/en-uk/work/shop/ultrasharp-27-4k-usb-c-monitor-u2720q/apd/210-aves/monitors-monitor-accessories

First id like to know about splitting the signal from the new xbox how can i do that and achieve 4k and also if this monitor is any good.

the previous xbox also supported 4k, but that doesn't matter.

personally i only play/use pc and i don't have a monitor, only my 65inch 4k led tv.

the only problem with the monitor is that for 4k, 27 inch (even close) is quite small to see the difference.

The only real pro i see is that it's LCD and not led, and (at last i think) LCD looks better than LED.

TL:DR either get a tv that's big or get real close to your monitor

I only have the original xbox atm which doesnt support 4k.

My current tv is plenty big enough for my needs and is 4k already so would be a needless upgrade.

Ok as in the Classic?

From 2001?

Fucking microsoft and their dumb naming schemes.

No i meant the previous xbox (to the series S/X) which was the One S/X could also do 4k.

If your tv is perfect, i say ditch the monitor (sell it or something) and play on your tv.
