Budget (including currency): 1309.91 (USD)

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Krita, Blender, Godot, Unity, Unreal Engine, The Witcher 3, Fallout series, and random indie games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hoping to be playing and designing games by March, 2021. I think this is a good build to start off with that allows for upgrades down the road and also allows for pretty powerful perfomance for both gaming and  game design. Excited to finally be playing on pc after playing on xbox since the times of the special series 360's. Anyone have any ideas for possible current upgrades? I already have the case and the power supply and I do not wish to exceed 1,500 USD. Glad to have found this community when I did and Linus Tech Tips on youtube

Everything looks ok, but maybe a 5600x would work. Also try to get 3600mhz  CL16 ram

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

3700x has 2 more cores, but lesser performance compared to the 5600x

5600x should perform better in games, though

I understand that but she's also being used for recording and game making. Is the 5600x still better? I'm not trying to sound rude just generally don't know. Also pretty much the only games I'm gonna play are the witcher and alot of older games and I know the witcher with this setup will run roughly 120 - 135 fps which is more than enough for me

what's the main difference between the tomahawk and the A PRO? I just ordered the ram also from G. Skill and got it on sale as well, I will check out the western digital for sure, already have the power supply I got it from best buy not long ago for less than the original price at I think like 85, I will check out the ASRock model, but I will say the 32 Gb is definitely overkill for what I'm doing currently
